The True Leader Of Iran: Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

“If the U.S. wants to improve relations with Iran, it can happen only with the approval of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

He is Iran’s supreme leader, with all the power that the job title suggests. He controls everything from Iran’s nuclear program to full authority over foreign policy.

“Only the supreme leader of the country is involved in negotiations with the United States,” says Tehran political analyst Said Laylaz.”

And in more recent news as the Gulf heats up over the worlds oil supply and transportation issue, coupled with Israel’s concern over Iran getting dangerously close to a Successful Nuclear Weapons Program.  We have this:

“TEHRAN: Iran’s supreme leader has pledged to aid any nation or group that challenges Israel and said any military strikes over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program would damage US interests in the Middle East “10 times over.”

The comments by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, broadcast nationally on Friday, staked out a hard line in apparent replies to suggestions that military strikes are an increasing possibility if sanctions fail to rein in the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program…..”

It really gets more interesting:

“(Reuters) – Iran’s supreme leader threatened on Friday to retaliate against the West for sanctions, a day after a U.S. newspaper said defense secretary Leon Panetta believed Israel was likely to bomb Iran within months to stop it building a nuclear bomb.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s defiant televised speech marking the anniversary of the 1979 Iranian revolution was the first time the top authority has spoken publicly about the impact of the new sanctions, which have strangled the Iranian economy since the start of the year.”

So we have the Anti-Iran War position, which is a very good position if you understand the costs involved.  By costs I mean lives, resources, focus away from domestic issues and on and on.  However, we have another ‘satanic-world-domination-nut-case’ in the house, and people, the world is ‘our house’  These guys CAN’T read me CAN’T have a nuclear weapons program.  North Korea, just have a military power to wipe out have the globe, starved 1,000,000 of their people to death.  Again, read: To Death.  Understand?  How would you like have these two sharing the Oval Office?  Think about it.  But war really isn’t a solution here.  And standoffs like this thanks to ‘Big Oil’ and all blatant criminal manipulation we all had to put up with since the first of Ford line of motor vehicle industrialization, “Houston we have a serious problem….”
